Personal use
$19 USD buys a license for one personally used Windows PC. $29 USD buys a personal license for up to three Windows PCs. Each personal purchase provides one activation code tied to the purchase email, with the corresponding device count.
Business use
Business licensing costs $5 USD per workstation, with a minimum purchase of 10 seats. Each purchased seat receives its own distinct one-workstation activation code. All codes are delivered to the purchase email. Organizations may distribute their codes internally to the licensed workstations. Business licensing does not include central management or remote deployment tooling.
One-time payment
These are one-time licenses for the purchased product version, not subscriptions. A purchase does not promise future major versions or a particular period of support. Prices are in USD. Any applicable payment or tax details must be shown before payment completes.
Activation and transfers
Internet access is required for initial activation. The license is associated with the purchase email and the permitted number of devices. A signed receipt enables offline use after activation. Do not share personal codes outside the licensed use, resell codes or activate more computers than your license allows. Release an old activation before transferring a seat to a replacement PC; contact support when the old PC is unavailable.
Payment verification and refunds
Codes are issued after verified payment, not just a checkout redirect. Reversed or refunded payments can revoke future activations. Contact info@harknesslabs.com for billing or refund requests. These terms do not limit rights that applicable consumer law does not allow to be waived.
Use and limitations
Use DeskLatch on computers you own or are authorized to administer. It requests Windows lock and power actions in response to reported events. It is not antivirus, encryption, a USB access-control system or a tamper-resistant service. Windows, applications, hardware and privileges can affect event detection or action completion.
Restart and shutdown may lose unsaved work. Configure and test rules before relying on them. No absolute security, availability or compatibility guarantee is made.
